Cancer Center

The Los Robles Hospital Cancer Center is a full service comprehensive Cancer Center, providing a complete array of services for the screening, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer.

We are pleased to provide our 2009 annual cancer care report. We also make available past reports, including our 2008 annual cancer care report. Previous cancer care reports provide an emphasis on specific areas of the disease, such as lung (2007), pancreatic (2006), colon (2005) and ovarian (2003 & 2004).

These services are offered through a network of cancer specialists, conveniently located, along with the Cancer Center, on the campus of Los Robles Hospital. Accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACOS) as a comprehensive community cancer center, the Los Robles Cancer Center has a long history of treating cancer patients for all diagnosis of cancer.

Our Cancer Center's staff is comprised of an expert team of specialists that include medical, surgical, urologic, gynecologic, radiation oncologists, and plastic and reconstructive surgeons.

The Cancer Center's resources also include oncology nurses, radiation therapists, pain management specialists, pharmacists, physical and occupational therapists, laboratory specialists, physicists, nutritionists, social workers, personal care/image experts, and financial counselors.

Enhancing our multidisciplinary team network is our affiliation with the Southwest Oncology Group and the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. Through these affiliations, we can give cancer patients access to the most advanced cancer treatment and management.

Our newly opened NeuroScience Gamma Knife Center, located on the hospital campus, features the Leksell Gamma Knife, the latest generation in noninvasive treatment of benign and malignant tumors, vascular malformations and other functional disorders located in the critical areas of the brain that were previously considered inoperable or inaccessible.
