Pediatric Inpatient Unit - Frequently Asked Questions
- What is happening with the Los Robles pediatric department? After much consideration, Los Robles Health System is closing its 12-bed pediatric unit to better meet the changing needs of our community. This will be effective July 1, 2025.
- Why is the Los Robles pediatric department closing? We continually assess our community needs, and over time, our pediatric volume has decreased significantly. On average we see less than two patients in our pediatric inpatient unit per day.
