Faster ER Care
Keeping our ER wait times as short as possible is our goal. That’s why we implemented an emergency room assessment process that has reduced average wait times down to less than 15 minutes. Trauma Center
And our ER is home to the only Level II Trauma Center in East Ventura County. We’re fully equipped to provide specialized and experienced multidisciplinary treatment to patients suffering from traumatic injuries. Whether arriving by helicopter or ambulance, our trauma patients are immediately treated by our 24/7 trauma team working in conjunction with the on-site EMS team to insure that treatment is initiated as soon as possible.

Other Achievements
We are also the only hospital in Ventura County to carry the coveted Los Angeles County Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) rating.

And we are the only hospital in the state certified by both Los Angeles and Ventura Counties as a STEMI-designated heart attack center for rapid heart attack response, and we are the only hospital in East Ventura County nationally accredited as Chest Pain Center.
