Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center will host a presentation on “Quality, Patient Safety, and Navigating Healthcare Decision-Making” on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at The Oaks Shopping Center in the Lower Level, near Macy’s Men’s & Home Store.
Los Robles Hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, Hannah Grossman, M.D. and Vice President of Quality Management, Erin Vera, will discuss evidence-based quality measures, and interpreting quality and patient safety information. Despite growing access to quality metrics and hospital rankings, there are still barriers that can make it difficult to discern meaningful differences among providers, and patients are often left confused about the quality of care that they can expect from organizations. Our speakers will help alleviate the stress of seeking high-quality care, and provide insights into some of the quality improvement projects at Los Robles Hospital.
A “Question and Answer” period will take place at the conclusion of the presentation. This presentation is part of Los Robles Hospital’s monthly Health Chats series that occurs the fourth Thursday of each month at the same time, in the same location.
